Tom's experience in the field of financial planning and wealth management has spanned over 20 years, having handled investment portfolios of various sizes.  Tom's personal approach to investment management allows him and his team of investment professionals to develop a comprehensive strategy in order to provide the soundest investment decisions based on each clients individual financial needs.  Ingrained in the company and in his colleagues is a culture of transparency, openness, and trust that is evident in the way Gateway Investments handles each and every account.

Mr. Santucci holds the distinction of being a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), which represents successful completion of a rigorous academic program conducted in conjunction with the Wharton School of Business as well as a high level of credibility, integrity and knowledge.

Having served as a Financial Advisor with Smith Barney (now Morgan Stanley Wealth Management) then as Vice President of Investments with UBS Financial Services, Tom specialized in wealth management and retirement planning.  He has also established an investment advisory business, managing assets for individual investors to small and mid-sized businesses, as well as large corporations, non-profit organizations and family foundations.

Prior to working in the financial services industry, Tom practiced law for 12 years, earning his Juris Doctorate degree from the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center at Touro College. Tom was an associate at Shaw, Goldman, Licitra, Levine and Weinberg, P.C. and later served as a managing partner of Santucci, Denkberg, and Wasserstein.   
 
Tom is an active participant in numerous civic and charitable endeavors.

Lauren Casagrande has worked hard to simplify the retirement planning process by helping clients overcome all the possible obstacles that can make saving complex.

As a Sociology and Business Administration graduate from the State University of New York at Albany, Lauren handles employer-sponsored retirement plans for various local businesses, as well as multinational corporations.  "I've been with Gateway over 15 years because the advisors here value educating new investors, as it is never too early to start.  We believe investing in a retirement plan accompanied with appropriate risk and diversification is the key to successful saving.”

She currently holds the following registrations: Series 7, 63, 66 and separately, Life Insurance / Accident and Health Insurance / Fixed Annuities /Variable life and Variable Annuities Licenses.  Most recently, she attained the designation of an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), indicating her commitment to carry out a fiduciary standard of care and serve the best interests of her clients.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys family time with her husband and two daughters.  She actively participates in various events such as the MS walk at Jones Beach for the National MS Society, the Breast Cancer Walk of the American Cancer Society, and even running a half marathon for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Beth has over 25 years in the financial services industry. She believes that good financial planning and advice starts with strong customer relationships.  Starting her career at EF Hutton as a Client Service Associate and later becoming a Financial Advisor at Smith Barney.

She provides her clients asset allocation and diversification by creating an individual financial plan custom tailored to cater to every investor’s specific needs.  She is well known for giving personal attention to each and every client and considers all aspects of estate planning, taxes, investments, debt, savings, insurance as well as her clients personal goals.  “I appreciate the ability to give personal attention to each and every individual client or institutional client and the ability to buy and sell securities based on those clients' personal needs.”  Closely monitoring the markets, Beth ensures that she can recommend the best value in investments for her clients.

With over 25 years experience in the financial services industry, Matt fully embraces the comprehensive financial planning process and seeks to provide solid, professional advice on ways to work toward a client’s financial goals.  He takes an active role in educating clients about matters concerning retirement, tax advantaged investing and advanced estate planning.  His goal is to deliver professional wealth management through sound advice; helping to create value, focus and understanding.  Once a plan is implemented, a timely review and update is consistent with his investment process.

Matt attended C.W. Post, Long Island University where he concentrated his studies on Finance.  He currently holds the following registrations: Series 7, 31, 63, 65, / Life Insurance / Fixed Annuity / Variable annuities licenses.

Matt is an avid ice hockey player and also enjoys the occasional round of golf.  He and his wife Amy currently live in Middle Village with their children Zoey and Brody. 

With more than 25 years experience as a member of the New York State Bar and now as a financial professional, Steve believes that he offers his client's the best tools to manage their complex financial matters, as the best interests of his client's always comes first.

Steven has earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation which represents a thorough knowledge of and ability to apply the fiduciary process.

Steve has received a  B.A. in Economics from the City University of New York and a Juris Doctorate (JD) from the Touro College School of Law.

Steven is an avid golfer and is active in many civic and charitable organizations.

Eric is a financial advisor with Royal Alliance Associates, Inc., a FINRA/SIPC member, and a Vice President at Gateway Investments, LLC. He has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, he was a Financial Consultant at Smith Barney/Citigroup for 20 years. Eric excels in researching investments to find those which are best suited to meet the individual needs of his vast and diversified client base. He specializes in wealth management.

Currently, Eric holds the Series 7, 63, 65, 3 registrations and separately, Life Insurance, Accident and Health Insurance, Fixed Annuities, Variable Life, and Variable Annuities licenses.

He prefers working with a boutique firm like Gateway, since management provides him more independence and flexibility in setting up the portfolios of his clients. This allows him to easily adapt to each clients individual needs and risk profile. 

Eric lives in Long Island with his wife Debra and their two sons, Nicholas and William. He likes to spend his free time officiating sports like baseball, softball, and track and field.

Liz Lobaccaro has been at Gateway Investments for four years, assisting clients in achieving their investment and savings goals. She works with individual clients and employer-sponsored retirement plans.  

What Liz enjoys most about working at Gateway is how there is not a one-size-fits all approach to investing. Every client’s needs are different, and the team at Gateway works to understand and address those needs, implementing a custom financial plan. 

She graduated with a degree in economics from Michigan State University and currently holds the Series 7, 63 and 66. Additionally, she completed the requirements to achieve the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) designation. 

Michael plays an important part in assuring that the operations of Gateway run as smoothly as possible. The main aspect of his job is to support the business functions of our team and to be able to anticipate and proactively seek resolutions to our client’s requests. 

He has been in the business for over 15 years assisting Branch Managers, Operation Managers, Financial Advisors and Sales Assistants.  At Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, he was a Contact Center Liaison working on various requests from opening accounts to researching trade corrections.  Michael also has experience in training end-users and providing support for numerous financial and web-based applications.

He enjoys working for Gateway because of the different people he gets to interact with and the knowledge he gains on finance and investing.  Michael likes to spend his free time collecting sports memorabilia, reading and spending time with his family.

Robert joined Gateway as Vice President of Investments, with a passion for helping clients achieve their financial goals. Robert specializes in providing retirement planning and wealth management services to his clients.  

Prior to joining Gateway, Robert served in various executive and leadership roles within the hospitality and technology industries. Robert received his Master's degree in finance from the City University of New York, Baruch College, with a focus on financial engineering.  

With his expertise in technical and quantitative analysis, he is able to identify opportunities and make strategic investment adjustments, helping his clients make informed investment decisions. Building long lasting generational relationships is a top priority for Robert. He understands that financial planning is a unique and personal process for every client, and he takes this time to build strong relationships based on trust, transparency, and communication. 

Robert currently holds the series 7, 63, and 24 registrations.  

Lucy leads our Client Services Team.  Our commitment of specialized and customer focused financial planning would not be possible without her hard work and dedication. The main aspect of her job is to provide support to the business operations of our team of Financial Advisors.  She ensures customer satisfaction through direct contact with our clients, vendors, and other operational employees, while making sure that all regulatory standards are met.

“It’s important for me to be able to anticipate and proactively seek resolutions to any potential issues and make the appropriate recommendations for corrective action.” 

She has been in the business for over 19 years. Her career began at Oppenheimer & Co. in the Operations Department, and later was promoted as Executive Assistant to the Regional Manager where she acted as a liaison between senior management, account executives, clients and various business units within the firm.

Lucy is also a Certified Medical Assistant, an Outreach Worker, and a Family Coordinator at the Nassau County Youth Board’s Strengthening Families Training Program.  She spends her free time with her children and seeks to continue her financial education.

Rick’s role as Senior Advisor at Gateway Investments is crucial for the company’s transition in keeping pace with current and planned changes to the regulatory process of wealth management.  His knowledge of the investment process and spectrum relating to the wealth creation for individual investors and institutions has helped the company cope with the costs, scale, and speed of this regulatory transformation. 
 
He is also a Partner at the Gateway Group, having formed this together with current President, Tom Santucci.  Prior to this, Rick was Director of Transition Suites for Royal Alliance, where he provided business development services, namely, start-up and operational support for other financial advisory businesses.  He was especially instrumental in the growth and development of Gateway, focusing more on trust and reputation while highlighting the need to provide invaluable advice and solutions to clients rather than just offering standard financial products.  He was part of Gateway’s recruitment of new advisors and prioritized inviting and developing quality client relationship management (CRM) talent. 

Rick was also the head of US Sales, Executive Vice President, the eventually President at Alliance Bernstein, a research-driven asset management and investment firm.  His time there has led him to make significant investments to core processes and technology for the Gateway Group.  He believes that this infrastructure transformation will redefine how wealth managers serve clients.
